Job Description
Transport items throughout the Metropolitan area. Provides safe transportation of sonographer equipment from The Christ Hospital Main location to the applicable testing site of that day.
Responsibilities
Drives hospital vehicle and maintain routine vehicle maintenance. Ensuring RV is readily available and at the designated site for sonographers to begin at start time. Make pick-ups and deliveries throughout the Metropolitan area
Prepare RV for patient access (extend awnings, hook ups, data access, generator, etc.)
Transport equipment and supplies safely to and from scheduled location site in a timely, logical manner.
Evaluate vehicle condition daily or weekly as applicable. Maintain cleanliness of vehicles daily, as needed.
Maintain logs, records, and RV equipment files of property activities. Report all maintenance needs promptly to designated maintenance person, in writing and verbally.
Responsible for scheduling repair, preventative maintenance and other miscellaneous services to RV as needed. Maintain appropriate level of necessary supplies, per specific checklist, to conduct daily schedule
Miscellaneous jobs, as directed by manager, including clerical, maintenance, and delivery. Transport hospital volunteers and hospital personnel. Maintain an open line of communication through quick response.
Contact the Supervisor / Dispatcher to obtain a listing of deliveries. Check transportation requests via web or internet. Weekend events may be scheduled as requested; advanced notice will be given to secure staff
Establish and maintain effective communication and cooperative working relationships with other departments, staff, members of the Medical Staff, patients and visitors Work in a safe manner. Comply with all hospital policies and procedure
Qualifications
EDUCATION : High School Diplôma / GED Required
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE : 2+ Years Driving Commercial.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :
Moderate to heavy physical effort.
Good Driving record with valid drivers License and knowledge of Greater Cincinnati/ Northern Ky. Area. Good Customer Relationship skills.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS :
License Class A or B CDL Driver
Valid drivers License, and in good standing.
