Job Description
To provide repair, preventative maintenance, installation and other miscellaneous services to hospital utlity, structure, and non-medical hospital equipment.
Responsibilities
Install, repair and maintain various components and systems such as electric lighting, heating, cooling, casework, windows, doors and plumbing and kitchen equipment.
Troubleshoot and analyze problems with Beds, and other systems such as sky-light TV and Trans-logic tube systems.
Assist in training other personnel, practice safety, maintain tools and equipment as appropriate
Coordinate repairs and furniture moves also manage PM's assignments
Answer service calls and input and complete work orders in the POM's work order System.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Trade courses or experience preferred. Ability to read schematic drawings that are necessary for certain work. Welding / Brazing preferred. Ability to be self directed and ability to prioritize task.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
Certification in HAZ Mat preferred, Required to wear respirator for ETO gas. Works, weekend shifts and holidays as required.
