Work Force Management Administrator

Job Description

The enterprise resource planning (ERP) analyst will provide functional and technical support of the core Work Force Management (WFM) application suite, ancillary applications, and system integration points. Partners with end users to resolve application problems in an efficient manner to minimize business disruption.

Responsibilities

Possesses the application functional/technical knowledge to support the Work Force Management suite. Partners with application owners in the documentation of current business processes and future state mapping to ensure the optimal configuration and efficiency. Identifies operational weaknesses and suggests process improvements. Understanding of integration points between related ERP modules and systems.

Assists in the support of other non-WFM ERP applications. Ability to acquire application and technical expertise in these systems.

Develops WFM system interfaces and enhancements as required by the business using organized system development methodologies inclusive of requirements definition, design, development, testing, and implementation.

Participates in the routine maintenance of all ERP applications, including enhancements, upgrades, patches, ESP/MSP releases, new software installations, and migrations. Performs integration and unit testing. Adheres to defined change management processes.

Develops high-level work estimates, work plans, initial priorities, and works with management to review and prioritize activities.

Assists application owners in the development of test scripts, policies, and procedures. Conducts end-user training/education as required.

Ensures timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues, and defects. Properly documents and notifies appropriate application owners and IT management.

Possesses an understanding of industry requirements and considers business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

Adheres to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality in matters that require discretion.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field, strongly preferred.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

• 8+ years experience in medium to large size corporate environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity of projects and applications.

• 4+ years recent experience with Work Force Management (Kronos) development, administration, and support.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Must have functional and technical experience with Work Force Management application suite.

• Must have experience interfacing with multiple systems (Unix, Oracle, SQL)

• Must have strong verbal/written communication skill

• Must have experience with project management methodologies and ability to manage multiple projects

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word)

• Team oriented, flexible, and able to work in an ambiguous and/or changing work environment.

• Some overtime required (evenings/weekends). Ability to work additional hours as needed.

• Experience with advanced scheduling, time keeping and payroll processed preferred

• Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and data manipulation tools preferred

• Prior healthcare experience preferred

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

Kronos or Work Force Management application/technical certifications a plu
