Rad Tech Adjunct Instructor - Arts and Health Sciences

Job Description

Part-time temporary position, teach or assist in teaching one or more courses within the academic semester as needed.

Health Sciences Programs:

  • Medical Assisting,
  • Sonography,
  • Health Care Administration,
  • Radiography


Courses will be taught during each academic term. Adjuncts may assist in creation and development of courses as assigned by the Dean, Health Sciences. Ensure learning assessment goals and outcomes are met. Work in collaboration with associated course faculty when appropriate/directed.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates will be familiar with learning management systems (Blackboard, Blackboard Ultra), assessment, evaluation, grading, and be experience/familiarity with course facilitation and design.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline for certificate program;




  • Master's degree in appropriate discipline for which person will be teaching for bachelors level degrees;




  • Doctorate preferred.
  • Candidates must demonstrate that related coursework and/or teaching experience is relevant to the work they will be conducting at the college.

    YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

    Candidates will also possess relevant teaching experience, with a minimum of two or more years of teaching experience at the college level at an accredited institution of higher learning preferred.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

    • Ability to demonstrate capability to collaborate with other faculty from across divisions is critical;

    • The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate either a familiarity with, or willingness to learn about and implement, online learning environments/courses.

    LICENSES REGISTRATIONS &/or CERTIFICATIONS:




  • Licenses/certifications required for adjuncts supporting clinical programs. Verification of program completion, certification and or registry required prior to being hired.
