Job Description
This role will primarily be responsible for meeting the data needs of ambulatory care to support care delivery, strategic initiatives and improve performance in Value Based Contracts.Work with leadership to identify and develop success metrics and create data dashboards and other tools to track performance. This individual will participate in performance improvement activity planning as well as work with TCHP leadership to help develop reporting and analysis to assist in performance of Value Based Contracts.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate data experience in data warehousing in data modeling, ETL architecture and development, reporting and visualizations. Design staging layer (reporting and visualizations). Author business requirement documentation, functional specifications and technical design documentation. Leverage innate Epic capabilities and enhance where needed. The Senior Data Architect must review, validate and maintain the Caboodle Warehouse architecture, entity relationship diagrams, data dictionary (definitions and lineage) for accuracy, usability and completeness. Must design, develop and maintain dimensional and 3NF data models based on business requirements and impact analysis. Must have demonstrated ability of conceptual, logical and physical data modeling in a data warehousing environment
Establish expertise in reviewing design, data development and implementation of current and future data EDW architecture. Support, monitor & administrate custom build Epic Caboodle, Clarity and Slicer Dicer; This position will be responsible for data profiling, data mapping (source to target) and data flow.
This position will be responsible for reviewing data definitions, data types, integrity constraints, cardinality, keying, indexing, lineage and other documentation and configuration as required.
Ability to review applications in development to ensure conformance to industry best practices. Develop and maintain audit process & reporting, data mapping documents, ERD designs and other documents as required.
Effectively communicate cross departmental, e.g., Infrastructure, Networking, Epic Analysts, & Informatics teams, end users and others. Collaborate with Bl analysts and internal customers to understand business and functional requirements. Conduct analysis to deliver technical solutions with a focus on usability. Ability to stay organized and manage tasks for technical projects/deliveries. effectively manage technical projects/deliverie
Apply appropriate testing methodologies and code migration strategies ensuring deliveries meet business requirements, are accurate and minimize iterations. This position will be responsible for reviewing/validating data accuracy throughout its lifecycle and participates in maintenance and monitoring activities.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: Master's Degree preferred
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5
Minimum 1 year experience with Caboodle development and Caboodle- Clarity development
Minimum 5 years ETL experience with SSIS
Minimum 5 years of Cogito experience
Business Objects experience desired
Project management experience preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Proficient in complex T-SQL code, stored procedures writing, analysis and debugging
Ability to analyze, debug and bring existing code up to standard
Strong knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML, TCL, and DCL)
Strong metadata skills including data lineage
Proven ability to architect and engineer business intelligence application
Experience performing data analysi
Experience working on large system implementation project
Experience with healthcare data including Epic Clarity Data Model
Experience with healthcare reporting regulations, certifications and compliance
Experience with SFTP application for automated secure transfer of extract files
Experience with SQL Server Administration and security
Experience with SQL Server Agent Administration; jobs, schedules, alerts & security
Dimensional (Star Schema) data modeling experience
Experience with version control software
Experience designing visualizations and dashboard
Data warehouse experience
The candidate must be self-starting, have a strong attention to detail and accuracy, and have a demonstrated knowledge of data architecture/data modeling in a source and warehouse environment.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
Caboodle Developer certification required.
