Compensation Analyst Senior

Job Description

This position is responsible for end-to-end compensation activities for TCHHN, including but not limited to, the following - administers compensation programs, policies and procedures across the enterprise, partners with business clients and HR Partners to understand and support their business objectives by providing analytical support, counseling, and expert compensation advice for their functional areas.Conducts job evaluations, participates in market surveys & analysis of data to ensure market competitiveness of programs. Implements annual bonus programs. Provides day-to-day compensation consultation to managers on internal and external equity, pay practices, and pay program guidelines. Prioritization of projects and tasks, proactively monitor progress, review of results and recommendations, as well as lead and develop other Compensation team members. Participates in the design of company-wide programs related to base pay, bonuses, incentives, policies, and performance management. May be a project lead on cross-functional projects. Recommends solutions or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related problems. Revises compensation processes as needed to optimize results.Aligns compensation programs with business needs of the client groups, developing creative solutions for business retention and recruitment issues.Educates client groups on compensation policies and programs.

  • Conducts & coordinates compensation surveys. Studies and analyzes all non-management, management and executive jobs and works with lines of business leaders to prepare Job Descriptions in a standardized form.
  • Evaluates jobs using established market pricing and internal comparisons to determine appropriate grades.
  • Works with managers and recruiters to effectively administer compensation programs, helping to evaluate jobs, set hiring rates, determine promotional increases and all other compensation matters.
  • Determines cost impact and seeks approval as necessary. Through routine audits and comparisons of job and employee data, works to establish and maintain consistency and accuracy of job titles, pay grades, and adherence to salary ranges.
  • Reporting, Compliance, and Presentation: Analyzes, maintains and prepares detailed reports and executive presentations on organizational measures and outcomes of all compensation related initiatives.
  • Monitors legal compliance such as interpretation and provides counsel to management regarding state and federal wage, salary and hour laws and regulations. Is a subject matter in issues related to the Fair Labor Standards Act.
  • Provides labor cost analysis, and participates in developing, revising and delivering compensation related management training and development.


Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred

Required Experience: 5-7 years compensation and analytics experience required. Prior experience in healthcare setting is a plus. Prefer experience with vendor software as MarketPay and Oracle

Required Skills and Knowledge: Advanced/Expert Level computer literacy including spreadsheet anddatabase applications. Expert with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Demonstrate strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to identify, quantify and formulate solutions to complex problems. Excellent verbal, written, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge and Certifications: Mathematics and statistics proficiency preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Access. Certified Compensation Professional. PHR Certification.
