Digital Technology Analyst Senior

Job Description

The Senior Analyst - Digital Technology will have a strong background in consumer-facing digital technology, with a focus on understanding how these technologies can be applied to improve healthcare delivery and patient care. This person will work closely with our business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. They will also be responsible for evaluating new technologies, recommending best practices for architectural decisions, and ensuring that our consumer-facing digital solutions align with our overall business goals.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Thought-Leadership

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Evaluate new consumer-facing digital technologies and recommend best practices for architectural decisions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, workflows, and data models
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure that consumer-facing digital solutions are integrated into our existing systems and infrastructure
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior IT analysts
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in consumer-facing digital technology and healthcare IT


Application Development & Support

  • Support application integration, web development, and application support efforts within the team
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of consumer-facing digital platforms, ensuring high availability and optimal user experience
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Implement and maintain digital security measures to protect the consumer data and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Manage and support intranet platform, including customizations, permissions management and content management
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement intranet enhancements that improve employee collaboration and productivity
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that drive patient engagement and acquisition
  • Provide training and support to end users of consumer-facing digital platforms to maximize adoption and usage
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of consumer-facing digital platforms to identify their areas for improvement and optimization
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of digital initiatives that align with business goals and objectives


Qualifications

EDUCATION:

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent working experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on consumer-facing digital technologies
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare with a strong understanding of systems and processes


REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Required:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of programming languages (ex. HTML, CSS, Javascript), content management systems, intranet platforms and data analytics tools
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop solutions to ensure optimal performance of consumer-facing digital technologies
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends in digital marketing, consumer-facing digital technology, and healthcare IT
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data, trends, and behavior to optimize digital strategies and applications


Preferred:

  • Epic EHR Experience a plus
  • User Experience (UX) Design: Understanding of UX principles to ensure that consumer-facing digital platforms are user-friendly and intuitive
  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Understanding of digital marketing concepts including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing, to support marketing technology effectively
  • Digital Security Awareness: Understanding of digital security best practices to ensure consumer data privacy and compliance with regulations
