Human Resources Information Systems Analyst Senior

Job Description

Responsible for the integrity of HRIS databases and ancillary systems. Supports the day-to-day HR operations and staff. Monitors processes and audits data for system accuracy. Tests and implements new or modified system software.

Responsibilities

Supports the day-to-day activities related to HR, benefits, payroll, and other inter-related functions. Primary contact for HR, benefits, and payroll system troubleshooting. Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws.

Develop, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in the development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Provides analysis and summary reports on an \"ad-hoc\" as well as routine basis to a variety of internal as well as external clients.

Coordinates and conducts system setup and testing. Analyzes process and recommends changes as needed. Insures documentation of system setup and procedures. Approves change controls migrating changes/enhancements between test and production environments.

Monitors effective use/delivery of the HRIS system and applications to human resource users through understanding business needs and priorities. Works with internal customers to maximize the effectiveness of the HRIS software.

Insures the integrity of HRIS database through review of data output and audits. Review inbound and outbound data interfaces for accuracy, consistency, and integrity to/from third party partners.

Provides training and orientation for HR specialists and other HR staff.

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

• 5 - 7 years

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Experience working with HRIS (Lawson) required, experience with API PayrollMation and ADP Comprehensive Outsourcing Solutions for payroll preferred

• Must have a thorough knowledge of Oracle HRIS and database systems.

• Knowledge of Human Resources, Benefits, and Compensation principles, practices and procedures.

• Must be skilled in manipulating data in Excel and Access.

• Must have the ability to work with electronic data systems.

• Must have the ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently.

• Strong background in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)

-Must have ability to independently complete Oracle configuration requirements

-Must have ability to create and maintain extracts from Oracle

-Must have ability and experience gathering requirements and creating 3rd party integrations with Oracle

-SQL/OTBI

PHR preferred
