Job Description
The HRIS Analyst I position is responsible for the support and maintenance of the HR Management System in addition to other systems supported by the HRIS team. This role serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report or query writing and analyzing data and workflow for potential process improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with IT to document business needs and verify accurate Lawson System builds, updates, file feeds and testing.
Responsible for providing technical support for the day to day administration of HR programs as well as the implementation of new programs or technology. This includes accurate processes anddocumentation,. Partner with HR subject matter experts to resolve file or logic issues resulting in administrative problems with external partners or vendors.
Responsible for evaluating and revising internal Human Resources processes to reduce cost and increase efficiency. Projects such as Open Enrollment, Merit, Performance Appraisal and other manual processes (CareShare, CSF), etc.
Collects experience data third party audits, compliance testing, government filings or contract renewals. May assist with analysis of data to provide program or policy change recommendations or identify trends.
Develop user guidelines and documentation. Train new users on processes/functionality and the Lawson system. Train existing users on new or updated processes/functionality in the Lawson system.
Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: H.S. Diploma Required, College degree Preferred
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Two to five years of HRIS or HR generalist or specialist experience with increasing level of responsibility Required; experience in project management preferred..
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Strong understanding of HR processes and data along with understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes. Previous benefits experience preferable. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), typing, Lawson knowledge preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail. Able to multi-task in fast pace environment and meet all deadlines.
