Intern - Integrative Medicine - Part Time - Days - Master's Students Preferred

Job Description

Performs a variety of duties to assist in the care provided by wellness professional personnel. Upon instruction, is able to provide these selected duties as assigned and supervised, with basic knowledge of fundamentals and theory. Performance of advanced technical procedures after competency has been demonstrated.

Responsibilities

Clinical

Review medical record to collect data for research purpose. Make measurements from image data as needed.

Data entry into computer system.

Draft publication documents, poster design. Provide clerical support for wellness division to include filing, copying, etc. and MS Access data entry support for wellness programs Provide clerical support for wellness division to include filing, copying, etc. and MS Access data entry support for wellness programs Provide clerical support for wellness division to include filing, copying, etc. and MS Access data entry support for wellness programs Communication:

  1. Orient patient and family to the hospital environment and services provided.


Other Related Duties: Performs other related duties as requested or required.

Adheres to established standards in personal appearance and conduct.

Dress code is followed.

Conduct is consistent with the rules outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Attendance is prompt and regular.

Cooperation is shown in the performance of other duties within the scope of the job description.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• Ability to work autonomously or within a team, completion of department orientation and orientation provided training, ability to follow written or verbal instruction effectively; willingness to work under close supervision; math skills and deductive reasoning.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: No experience required.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Vocational/Technical education preferred.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:

Successfully completes training modules for delegated tasks for research such as CITI training as needed

Demonstrates competency in delegated skills for patient population.

Required to work one 8 hour shift every 2 weeks to maintain.
