Job Description
Assist the Director of Reimbursement in ensuring appropriate reimbursement from all government payor sources, preparing required governmental reimbursement reporting, including cost reports and HCAP reporting, and analyzing data for preparation of monthly third party A/R payor estimates.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of the Medicare, Medicaid, and Tri-Care annual cost reports
Accumulate and analyze patient related information for annual HCAP reporting
Assist in the tracking, billing, and reporting of the Interns and Residents associated with Graduate Medical Education (GME)
Prepare month-end estimates related to third party A/R balances
Analyze impact of changes to the government payor regulations
Provide reimbursement and regulatory updates to Executive team
Assist in the Budget process and determination of budgeted Net Patient Revenue
Coordinate and communicate with external regulatory agencies including cost report audit resolution
Assist Director of Reimbursement in development of department policies and procedure
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5-8 years experience in Hospital reimbursement and possess extensive knowledge of Medicare and Ohio Medicaid reimbursement rules and regulations
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Excel, Word, Access, Medicare cost report software
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
CPA preferred
