Senior Manager, Network Budget

Job Description

This position will provide oversight and support of the Budget/Forecast process for Clinical / Non Clinical of the Network with Primary areas including the Physician Practice Division of TCHHN. Oversight of analysis generation and preparation of Financial reporting and distribution to TCHHN Executive team and other Service Line leaders. Communicate effectively results with Mgmt & Leadership to achieve their Financial goals while providing guidance and recommendations for opportunities to continuously improve the Financial Health of the Network. Provides leadership in support of Business Case process to make effective Financial decisions in line with Network Core values and Strategic Plan. Oversight of personnel training in the proper use of the ERP/EPSi software and education of Financial concepts as necessary

Responsibilities

Develop, present, and oversee TCHHN annual Operational and Capital budgets.

Review and clarify budget submissions with TCHHN Leaders, overseeing the process and timely completion of annual budget

R eview the monthly financial performance of TCHHN, providing adequate, timely explanations of budget variances for financial reporting and departmental leader follow-up. Prepare requested variance reports for senior management

Collaborate with executives, project managers, and departmental leaders to set budget goals aligned with TCHHN goals and providing leadership in support of Business Case process to make effective Financial decisions in line with Network Core values and Strategic Plan.

Assist with the month end close process.

Identify, evaluate, and communicate opportunities that could improve the financial condition of TCH.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (e.g. BSN required, MSN preferred.):

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other relevant Business degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years in business operations; Healthcare experience required; Prior experience in support of Physician Practice Operations also preferred

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of personal computer and spreadsheet, graphics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to develop financial models using Excel. EPSi or STRATA experience preferred .
