Senior Manager, Network Budget

Job Description

This position will provide oversight and support of the Budget/Forecast process for Clinical / Non Clinical areas including Research Trial/Contract development, review and setup. Serve as a subject matter expert in ERP (and Clinical Mgt System) and the process development for effective and efficient utilization. Oversight of analysis generation and preparation of Financial reporting and distribution to TCHHN Executive team and other leaders.. Communicate effectively results with Mgmt & Leadership to achieve their Financial goals while providing guidance and recommendations for opportunities to continuously improve the Financial Health of the Network.. Oversight of personnel training in the proper use of the Clinical Research/ERP/EPSi software and education of Financial concepts. Assist The Christ Hospital Physician Finance team with compensation and contract analysis and planning.


Oversight of department financial Budget / Forecasting processes of Clinical/Non Clinical business units to ensure alignment with Network Financial Performance objectives. Financial Management oversight of Clinical Research trials / grant administration and contract review/setup.

Maintain systems in terms of updating and auditing Financial data, reporting development, and setup of Budget / Projection modeling. Oversight of future ERP/Clinical Research upgrades / implementation

. Provides leadership as a Business partner to Service Line leaders and Business Units as assigned, Executives, and Clinical Research Leaders in support of Business Case Process & development to help Leadership make effective Financial decisions in line with Network Core values and Strategic Plan

The Senior Business Manager serves as an expert for the complex financial and analytical needs of the Service Lines and Business units and Communicates effectively with Leadership on Financial results.. Identify and communicate opportunities / risks that could impact the financial condition of the organization while providing guidance/recommendations to the Service Line and Business leaders that contributes to the continued improvement of Organization's Financial Health

Oversight of System and Financial training to users utilizing ERP/Clinical Research systems to ensure proper understanding of their financial role/responsibilities & process. Training includes on boarding of all new users as well as continued training for current users.

Prepare Adhoc reporting and work on projects with key members of organization as needed


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS (e.g. BSN required, MSN preferred.):

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree required; undergraduate coursework in finance, or accounting fields strongly recommended.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5-7 years in business operations; Healthcare experience required

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of personal computer and spreadsheet, graphics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds (education, training, cultures). Expertise in Healthcare Research budgeting and Government regulatory requirements relating to FDA/CMS approvals and coverage.
