Oncology Advanced Practice Provider
Shift: 0.5 FTE Part-Time, Day shift
(Two 10-hour shifts per week: Monday and Tuesday)
Location: This position will require travel between a couple TCHHN practice locations. Though subject to change in the future, the current locations will include:
Position Description: This candidate will serve as a part-time Oncology APP, collaborating with one physician.
Job Overview: The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) may be an APRN, PA or NP that has been prepared with the appropriate graduate level education and authorized to practice and prescribe as such. The APP will be joining a team of experienced, outpatient-based APPs and oncology physicians.
The schedule will include working two, 10-hour shifts per week at various practices within the region. There are no call requirements (optional) or inpatient responsibilities. Oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Education: Graduate from accredited Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
License/Certification:
Certified Nurse Practitioner: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner certification verified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Current, valid license (registration) by the Ohio Board of Nursing or applicable state board
OR
Physician Assistant: Graduate from accredited physician assistant program with a Master's Degree Physician Assistant Certification (verified by the National Commission or the Certification of Physician Assistant - NCCPA. Current, valid license (registration) by the state Medical Board of Ohio or applicable state medical board. Current Certificate to prescribe by the State Medical Board of Ohio.

- BLS certified
- ACLS certified (preferred but not required)
