Job Description
Project Manager role will report into Enterprise Performance and directly to the Executive Director. This role will lead and facilitate projects that are moderate in size and scope to improve the Networks delivery of care, business and operational processes. With project assignments being moderate in organizational complexity and size they require moderate level of change management and communication skills. The Project Manager will work closely with Network executive sponsors to define, plan, execute and manage projects. This role will require managing budget and staff of moderate size and will need to lead aspects of organizational change.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management
• Coordinates with internal and external resources regarding project objectives and deliverable
• Manage activities with internal and external resources to develop mutual opportunities for improving TCHHN's service
• Implement best practices in teaming with internal and external resources to ensure performance at the required level
Project Management
• Lead projects in support of the organizations strategic plan.
• Assigned projects will be moderate in size, budgets, and resources to manage. Will include sponsor and stakeholder management, business, clinical, and operational process development.
• The project manager will work closely with the executive sponsor to lead cross-functional teams to define, manage, and execute the project. Teams will include project managers, clinical and non-clinical staff, and development resources.
• For assigned projects, develop and drive cross-organization collaboration, user engagement, identify trade-offs, work across departments, balance tactical and strategic, drive decision. Be involved with hands-on operational activities where required.
• Provide facilitation and direction setting to project team members.
General Project Manager Activities
• Schedule, facilitate and document all meetings; actively listen during the meeting; ensuring that meeting objectives are achieved and follow-up actions noted
• Determine and document all stakeholders in a project RACI chart, project organizational chart or alternative
• Guide stakeholders through the EPMO Project Proce
• Manage and document scope
• Manage and document the requirement
• Manage and document budget
• Manage and document the schedule build consensus with the stakeholders and resource
• Determine resource needs of the project; approach resource managers to communicate needs; adjust resourcing allocated, as needed
• Listen to concerns of stakeholders and resources and address them as issues or risk
• Report status to stakeholders at a consistent frequency
• Oversee quality objectives of your project
• Oversee all communications on the project
• Manage all sign-offs
• Manage changes to scope, schedule or budget in your project.
• Oversee changes in accordance with the EPMO Change Management proce
• Capture lessons learned for your project; review lessons learned from previous projects when starting a new project
• Recognize when corrective action is needed; escalate when appropriate
• Communicate barriers to progress
• Performs other duties as necessary or assigned by the Manager of the Enterprise Program Management Office and Executive Management Team.
Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement:
• Partner with the Enterprise as a trusted advisor to optimize business performance.
• Measure and evaluate project outcomes against published objectives for the purpose of improving future initiatives.
• Provide mentoring and education services to develop project management skills throughout the Enterprise
• Proactively identifies improvement opportunities and implements solutions that are deemed priorities of The Christ Hospital Health Network.
Leadership and Human Resource Management:
• Provides leadership to ensure consistent Project Management Methodologies are followed
• Provide support to correct and align project activities to proposed and planned metric
• Fosters a service-oriented atmosphere of teamwork throughout the Enterprise
• Must be a professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, business ethics and character
• Outstanding communication skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with people on various levels of the Enterprise
• Exhibits high levels of initiative, persistence and poise coupled with qualities of maturity, professionalism, flexibility and patience
• Ability to prioritize and deliver on project objective
• Excellent management and leadership skills with the ability to provide clear direction to stakeholder
Financial Oversight
• Administers activities associated with enterprise projects, while managing established capital and expense budget
• Facilitate in the resolution of billing payment disputes with vendors in accordance with the contract
• Prepares monthly executive status reports with updated budgeted information
• Responsible for the financial health of the project
Enterprise Investment Planning
• Facilitate cost benefit analysis, project feasibility and alignment to strategy
• Collaborates cross functionally with network resources to support enterprise strategic initiative
• Engage in EPMO procedures and best practice
• Provides support and education in TCHHN Project Management principles and methodologie
• Works with executives and project teams to measure stakeholder satisfactions and benefits realization.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience required.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum three (3) experience managing projects with a minimum of two (2) years' experience supporting multi-site, healthcare project management delivery processes.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
PMP - preferred
